You will have minimal paperwork the day of surgery because our business office works directly with your doctor's office and your insurance company to collect the information we need to facilitate your surgery.

With the ever-changing healthcare system, it has become increasingly difficult to understand your healthcare benefits. Our goal is to help you better understand the associated fees and your responsibilities for services and procedures at our center.

Although we contract with most insurance companies, every insurance plan requires different co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance and we cannot guarantee what charges your carrier will cover. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand their plan and benefits, and to pay any portion of the allowed charges that are not covered by their insurance. If your insurance requires pre-certification, please confirm with your doctor's office that they have submitted the request to your insurance company prior to surgery.

We will do our best to help you determine what portion of the charges is covered by your insurance and what portion is the patient’s responsibility prior to surgery. During a pre-admission phone call, a member of our staff will discuss financial arrangements with you. Deductibles, co-payments, and payments are due the day of surgery.

Acceptable forms of payment are personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Our patients can also apply for CareCredit®. CareCredit is an instant approval credit card issued exclusively for use in paying for health care expenses. For additional information on CareCredit, patient fees or charges, please contact our business office.

The fees at Littleton Day Surgery Center include the use of the facility, all standard and specialized equipment, nursing services, medications used during surgery and the supplies required for your procedure. You will be billed separately by your physician, anesthesiologist or anesthetist, and pathology and radiology when applicable.
